What is a "Fatura Recibo"?

First of all, let's talk about "Fatura Recibo".

Well, "Fatura Recibo (FR)" is a type of document which is an invoice and the payment proof itself at the same time. In order to make the billing process easier, this type of document is introduced.

In general, this type of document is an invoice and a receipt too.

In other words, the "Fatura Recibo" is an invoice whose payment is proven by itself. That means we do not require another document (Recibo) if we get "Fatura Recibo". However, in the case of other invoices, we may need a receipt as proof of payment.

For example, you have purchased a "Newspaper" which has a cost of 100,00 €.

In case, the Merchant gives you "Fatura Recibo", you do not need to ask for any other document to prove the payment method. It is because "Fatura Recibo" proves that the payment of the "Newspaper" has already been done.
