How to Recover Social Security Password?
Well, we can easily recover Social Security Password in Social Security Portal.
The step-by-step process is mentioned below.
First of all, we have to open an Internet Browser and Search for “Social Security Portugal”.
as shown in the picture below.
We have to click on “Segurança Social Direta”.
In order to recover the lost Password, we need to click on "Perdi A Minha Palavra-Chave".
On this page, we need to type our social security number and tick on "Não Sou Um Robô".
After that, we need to click on "Prosseguir".
After that, we need to click on "Prosseguir".
Here, we have to provide our information and click on "Próximo Passo: Contactos" as shown in the picture below.
Now, we need to verify our E-Mail address and Mobile number which are registered in Social Security Portal as shown in the picture below.
Now, we need to click on "Próximo Passo: Código".
Now, we need to click on "Próximo Passo: Código".
Next, we need to choose the way of verification as shown in the picture below.
We are going to be received a verification code that will help us to create a new password for
Social Security Portal.
If we select "Por Correio Electrónico", we will receive a code in our E-Mail address.
And
If we select "Por SMS", we will receive a text message to our Mobile.
This is the main reason why we need to provide our correct information in the portal.

How to Edit Personal Details in Social Security?
Once we select the verification way, we need to click on "Confirmar".
We are going to be received a verification code that will help us to create a new password for
Social Security Portal.

If we select "Por SMS", we will receive a text message to our Mobile.

How to Edit Personal Details in Social Security?
Once we select the verification way, we need to click on "Confirmar".
Next, we need to provide the verification code and click on
"Confirmar Código De Verificação".
On this page, we need to provide a new password and retype the same password again.
The new password needs to have the following rules.
It must be 9 to 13 characters.
It must contain at least one Big Letter.
It must contain at least one Small Letter.
It must contain at least one Number.
It must contain at least one Special Character such as @, #, %, &, etc.
Next, we need to click on "Confirmar Palavra-Chave".

We need to click on "Efetuar O Acesso Na Segurança Social Direta Com A Sua Palavra-Chave".

Now, we have to provide our Social Security number and the new Password as shown in the picture below. We can click on “Entrar” to login.
As we can see, we are logged in to the Social Security Portal.
