What is a "Recibo"?

What is a "Recibo"?

A "Recibo" is the proof of payment of the product or service. In order to confirm the payment of the product or service, the "Recibo" is issued. In other words, it is a receipt that proves that the customer has paid the amount.

For example, if we purchase a "Newspaper" from a store, the Merchant must issue the Invoice and the Receipt. There is a document that aggregates both the Invoice and the Receipt at the same time which is "Fatura Recibo".

In general, when we purchase something, the Merchant has to provide us the Invoice. In turn, we have to pay the exact amount to the Merchant. Finally, the Merchant has to provide us the "Recibo". That means "Recibo" is issued after the Merchant receives the value of the Product or Service.

As we know, a "Recibo" should have the following elements:

(Fiscal Name, Address, and Postal Code are optional.)
