What is a "Recibo"?
A "Recibo" is the proof of payment of the
product or service. In order to confirm the payment of the product or service,
the "Recibo" is issued. In other words, it is a receipt that proves
that the customer has paid the amount.
For example, if we purchase a "Newspaper"
from a store, the Merchant must issue the Invoice and the Receipt. There is a
document that aggregates both the Invoice and the Receipt at the same time
which is "Fatura Recibo".
If we want to learn more about "Fatura
Recibo", we can click the link below.
In general, when we purchase something, the Merchant
has to provide us the Invoice. In turn, we have to pay the exact amount to the
Merchant. Finally, the Merchant has to provide us the "Recibo". That
means "Recibo" is issued after the Merchant receives the value of the
Product or Service.
As we know, a "Recibo" should have the
following elements:
Merchant Details
(Fiscal Name, Finance Number, Address, Postal Code)
Customer Details
(Fiscal Name, Finance Number, Address, Postal Code)
(Fiscal Name, Address, and Postal Code are optional.)
Document Details
(Recibo, Number)
Transaction Time
(Date, Time)
Product or Service Details
(Description of Product or Service, Quantities, Price
without Tax, VAT rates, Total Amount)
